Hakim Williams and Malik Lissone combined for a shutout to lead Santaluces to a 2-0 win over Boca Raton in a key 9A-10 contest. Williams allowed three hits and struck out two and Lissone struck out four. Angel Diaz had a double and two RBIs and AJ Orrico was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run. The Chiefs (7-9) gained ground in the district to improve to 2-3, while the Bobcats (7-8, 3-2) need to beat Park Vista in their district game to ensure themselves of the second seed in the district tournament.
