Dom Paolo doubled and scored the winning run on an error in the eighth inning to lift Wellington to a 1-0 win over Brighton, Utah on Wednesday. John Campagnuoulo pitched all eight innings, allowing three hits while striking out six for the Wolverines (15-6), who have won seven in a row. Angelo Brunelas had two hits.

Tyler Ahearn pitched a three-hitter, and Colton Rendon (two RBIs) and Myles Colangelo (run) each had two hits to lead Dwyer in a 4-2 win over Broward powerhouse Flanagan. It was the fifth win in a row for the Panthers (15-5).

Alex Cordes went 3-for-4 with a double, walk, three runs and two RBIs, and Justin Varisco went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run to power Atlantic to a 10-1 win over Santaluces. Duane Cyr added a hit, walked and drove in two runs, and Johnson Scott allowed four hits in five innings to earn the win for the Eagles (15-8), who snapped a three-game losing streak.
