Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Wednesday, April 13th, 2016

Olympic Heights ended a tough season on a strong note as it snapped a 13-game losing streak as it defeated Saint John Paul II 2-1 for its second win over the Eagles this season. The Lions (4-19-1), who haven’t won since defeating Boynton Beach 5-1 on March 4th, also beat the Eagles 4-3 on March 2nd. Aaron Weldy struck out six in a complete-game performance, and Brandon O’Brien hit a double. Jason Patel went 2-for-3 with a run, and Brooks Lamb added two hits and drove in a run.

Jupiter extended its winning streak to five games with a 6-3 win over Wellington. Ramon Machado went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Anthony Servideo scored twice and drove in a run for the Warriors (15-9). Blake Disher doubled. Dylan Tosto went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Wolverines (16-8).
