Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, April 14th, 2016

Christian Vasquez had two hits and two RBIs, and delivered a walk-off single to lift Wellington to a 3-2 win over Park Vista on Thursday in the regular-season finale for both teams. Ryan Stark had two hits and scored for the Wolverines (17-8), who bounced back from two straight losses. Luke Panakos pitched two innings for the win. The Cobras, who tied with Flanagan 7-7 the night before, finished the regular season 17-5-1.

Josh Katinger drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth, and Forest Hill held on to beat Benjamin, ranked number one in the region, 1-0. Kylan Barnett went 2-for-3 with a double and run for the Falcons, who finished the regular season 19-6. The Bucs also finished 19-6.

DJ Lawler pitched a no-hitter, and Noah Adams had three hits, including a double, and drove in a run for Berean Christian in a 12-0 win over Glades Day.
