Martin County Slugs Its Way Past Treasure Coast
Four of Martin County’s 14 hits went for extra bases as the Tigers visited the Treasure Coast Titans and came home with a convincing 9-3 win. The Tigers got their bats cracking early, scoring four runs in the first inning. After two quick outs, they sandwiched a walk between a pair of base hits, setting the table for Griffin Roe’s run-scoring double into left field for the 2-0 lead. Gavin Melians brought the next two runs in with a line drive into center field in the next at-bat.
