Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Wednesday, March 9th, 2016

Brad Hammel and Christian Baez combined to pitch Forest Hill to a 7-0 upset of top-ranked Park Vista on Wednesday. Brandon Sanchez went 1-for-2 and drove in two runs, and George Hernandez went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Falcons (7-3), who bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to John I. Leonard. Alex Garces brought in two runs.

Luis Ramos hit a walk-off sacrifice fly to bring in Richard Ornelas as Lake Worth rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh to edge Oxbridge 7-6. Angel Cruz had four hits, doubled, homered and drove in four runs for the Trojans (8-4). Tim Rivera added two hits and an RBI.

Zak Sprankle pitched five and one-third strong innings for Jupiter as it beat Palm Beach Gardens 8-2 in a 9A-9 game. Brandyn Ward hit a two-run home run, and Anthony Servideo went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Warriors (6-6, 3-1). Udi Summerall went 2-for-3 with a home run for the Gators (8-4, 3-1).
