Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Wednesday, March 16th, 2016

Santaluces snapped a two-game losing streak and won for just the third time this year, defeating Olympic Heights 8-3 on Wednesday. Zach Helpern went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run, and McKay Giffin added two hits and scored for the Chiefs (3-8). Matt Feigenbaum doubled and Adam Will had two hits and scored for the Lions (3-10-1).

Port St. Lucie bounced back from a shutout loss at Okeechobee to beat John Carroll 7-1 in a non-district game.

Cardinal Newman snapped a two-game losing streak as it defeated Boynton Beach 8-5. Chris Cammarata (2B, three RBIs),
Joe Yupp (2B, RBI), Brett Steel (2B, RBI) and German Torres (RBI) each had two hits for the Crusaders (5-8).
