Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, March 8th, 2016

Jose Garcia hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to lift John I. Leonard to 2-1 upset of Forest Hill in a non-district game Tuesday. It was the second win in a row for the Lancers (3-7) after a seven-game losing streak.

Cue the Bee Gees because Park Vista was stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive as it rallied for two runs in the bottom of fourth to edge Palm Beach Central 3-2 for its fifth one-run win this season. The Cobras moved to 10-0 as Michael Decker threw four shutout innings in relief, striking out nine, to get the win. Zack Padgett doubled and drove in two runs, and Drew Kendall brought in the other run.

CJ Sothen earned the win as Royal Palm Beach upset Trinity Christian 10-0. The Wildcats improved to 4-8, and the Warriors dropped to 7-4.
