Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, March 3rd, 2016

Suncoast snapped a three-game losing streak and won its second game this season as it walked off against Jupiter 4-3 on Thursday. Jack Virdon went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs, including the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh. Freshman Garrett Parkins threw five strong innings in his first varsity start of his career for the Chargers (2-3). Tyler Lavery closed the game and earned the win, and Nate Brodsky and Joe Devine hit doubles. Brandyn Ward homered for the Warriors (4-5).

American Heritage managed just two hits against Santaluces but came away with a 4-1 win, its second in a row. The win avenged a 3-1 loss to the Chiefs in the season-opening Santaluces Slam.
