Tournament host Lake Worth won the GGI Classic on Monday by defeating Forest Hill 10-1 at Dave Manzo Field. Nelson Velazquez (three runs, three RBIs, triple, home run), Angel Cruz (four RBIs, run, home run) and Joseph Pagan (run, RBI) each had three hits for the Trojans (13-5), who won their fifth in a row.
Kody Gardere pitched five hitless innings with six strikeouts in Palm Beach Gardens’ 10-0 win over Cardinal Newman.
