Pat Lawlor Proud To Sponsor Palm Beach Player Profiles

Pat Lawlor.

Pat Lawlor has always been involved in sports. The native of Danbury, Connecticut, has been involved in golf and baseball primarily in recent years and he has been the chairman of the Broward County Hall of Fame for the past 13 years. Lawlor graduated from Nova Southeastern University and has been practicing law for the past 25 years, and he was also a certified NFL sports agent. He has been involved in many other various sports and Super Bowl committees working with the convention and visitors bureau.

Now Lawlor has stepped to the plate as HSBN’s Palm Beach County sponsor for the player profiles. Thanks on behalf of Lawlor & Zigler Personal Injury Trial Attorneys and also Galaxy Sports Advisors, each player in Palm Beach County enjoys the player profiles on palmbeachhighschoolbaseball.com. Now every player in the county can now have their own free profile, with important information such as GPAs, 60 times, coaches and player contact information, and all other relevant scouting benchmarks.

Giving back has always been his top focus. Although he did represent several high-profile clients such as the Arizona Cardinal’s Patrick Peterson and Tyrone Mathieu, Lawlor’s main clientele were local athletes in which he worked to help protect and learn the professional sports industry. Now his partnership with HSBN allows him to stay involved in the sport that has always been his primary love.

“This is a chance to help somewhere in something that I know,” Lawlor said. “Personally, I love baseball. I love to see the kids develop, and we are in the hotbed for all sports down here. Baseball is just amazing and just seeing the games and seeing them develop is great. That is why this site is so great is because it helps to do stuff for the kids. They are still kids and they like playing baseball.”

Lawlor coached his son and got involved in youth programs and travel baseball in 2010, which led to the formation of the Galaxy Aces. He got together with a good bunch of coaches and assembled a 16U and 18U team, and recently they merged with the Stealth organization for 17 total teams. Lawlor put a lot of his own money into it to help the kids get the best coaches without having the kid’s break the bank in the process.

Last year his son had a great season at Boca Raton and the team had a great year, and Lawlor found himself wishing that there was somebody that had information on these kids to compare against these other. That was when he first saw HSBN and he thought it was pretty impressive.

“It is a great site to go to and find out about the teams,” Lawlor said. “I think it is part of the problem down here that a lot of coaches are not pushing the kids and helping them to get into college. I think it is a coach’s job to make connection with the schools and help their guys. The big Division I guys do not need as much help, but those other guys do. So I saw what HSBN is doing and I was extremely impressed.”

These continued partnerships help to provide Palm Beach County with the best high school baseball coverage in the nation. Colleges across the country are able provided with detailed and accurate information about prospective players, and everyone that wishes to go on and play baseball at the college level has the opportunity to make that happen.
