Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, February 9th, 2016

DJ Lawler had a career night, striking out 12 and allowing one hit, and going 4-for-4 with a home run in Berean Christian’s season-opening 10-0 win over Community Christian. Armani Zalez and Noah Adams each had three hits.

Justing Varisco went 3-for-3 with a double, and Duane Cyr went 2-for-4 with three RBIs as Atlantic nipped Benjamin 5-4 on the second day of the annual Santaluces Slam. Michael Pace struck out five in three innings to get the win. In other Slam games, tournament host Santaluces beat American Heritage 3-1, Jupiter topped John I.
