Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Friday, February 19th, 2016

Jorge Hernando hit a walk-off grand slam as Forest Hill beat Royal Palm Beach 9-7 in an 8A-12 game Friday. The Falcons (4-1) also got two RBIs from Luis Garcia as they rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the seventh to overcome a 7-2 deficit and win their fourth in a row. Hector Perdigon was the winning pitcher.

In another 8A-12 game, Richie Cotramono doubled in the 10th to lead Seminole Ridge past Wellington 5-4.

Jagger McCoy pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts to key Boca Raton’s 4-0 win over Lake Worth in 9A-10.

Kody Gardere got the win for Palm Beach Gardens as the Gators overcame a 4-0 deficit with a six-run second inning and held on to win 6-5 over Jupiter in a 9A-9 game.

Nik Constankakos pitched a complete game and struck out 13 in Jupiter Christian’s 8-2 win over Coral Springs Christian in a 3A-7 matchup.

Zach Chivers tossed a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and also went 2-for-3 with an RBI as Oxbridge Academy defeated St. Andrew’s 10-0 in a 4A-6 game.
