Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, April 14th, 2015

They bent but they didn’t break. The Park Vista Cobras rallied for a run in the bottom of the ninth to defeat a tenacious Flanagan team 2-1 Tuesday night in a showdown of top-ranked teams from Broward and Palm Beach. Austin Smith struck out five in seven innings for the Cobras (23-1), who won their 23rd in a row and survived their ninth one-run game this season. Colin Smith had two hits and drove in a run.

Danny Lynch had two hits and scored the winning run in Dwyer’s 3-2 win over Cardinal Newman. Shane Roberts threw four shutout innings, striking out nine.

Colton Eremian went 3-for-3 with two RBIs for Boca Raton in a 4-2 win over West Boca at Florida Atlantic University.
