Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, April 16th, 2015
Matthew Mika went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, driving in four runs and scoring two to rally Park Vista to a 5-2 win over Palm Beach Central on Thursday. Mika’s blast came in the top of the sixth with the Cobras down 2-1. It’s the 24th consecutive win for the Cobras, who haven’t lost since the first game of the season.
Cardinal Newman snapped a two-game losing streak to nip Spanish River 3-2 as Jared Oleck went 3-for-3 with an RBI. Eric Fagerli had Newman’s other two hits.
Tristan McKenzie went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Sean Malynn went 3-for-4 as Royal Palm Beach rallied for a run in the bottom of the seventh to beat Jupiter 5-4. Logan Pittman recorded the win.
