Harley Sanicky hit a walk-off single in the bottom eighth inning to score Sendle Jean to give Palm Beach Gardens a 5-4 win over Wellington in 8A-9 on Thursday. The Gators (9-2), who have won five in a row, head the district at 4-0. Jean had two hits, including a triple, and scored twice. Hunter Sanicky and Anthony Maldonado homered.

Cam Weinberger struck out 10 and allowed four hits in a complete-game performance to guide Spanish River to a 7-0 win over Palm Beach Central. Mike Meyers and Spencer Diaz had two hits each and accounted for five RBIs.
