John I. Leonard scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to beat Wellington 2-1 on Monday.
Justin Barney struck out six in five innings and also drove in four runs with three hits to help American Heritage secure a 14-0 win over St. Andrew’s that improved its 4A-13 record to 3-0. It also was the sixth win in a row for the Stallions.
Kyle Adderly belted a grand slam as part of a three-hit performance to key Trinity Christian’s 19-7 win over Boca Raton Christian.
Suncoast gained momentum for its HSBN Game of the Week matchup Saturday with Palm Beach Central by beating Boynton Beach 5-1.
