Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Monday, March 16th, 2015

Sendel Jean drove in the winning run in the top of the seventh inning to lift Palm Beach Gardens to a 2-1 win over Chiles in the Florida League Invitational in Sanford. William Guay pitched six and one-third innings to earn the win.

Also in the Florida League Invitational, American Heritage earned its 10th consecutive win, beating Seminole 11-0. The Stallions have given up a total of 12 runs during that streak.

Anthony Nichols went 3-for-3 with a double, home run, three runs, three RBIs and a stolen base to power Santaluces to an 8-5 win over Cardinal Newman for their second consecutive win following an eight-game losing streak. AJ Orrico went 3-for-4 with three runs and a stolen base.

Hector Perdigon pitched a five-inning no-hitter in Forest Hills’ 11-0 win over Lake Worth.
