Luke Cimo drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lift Pope John Paul II to a 2-1 win over Cardinal Newman in 4A-13 on Friday. The Eagles remain in second in the district at 4-2.

David Moff had two hits and drove in the winning run as Seminole Ridge edged Palm Beach Central 1-0 in an 8A-9 game Friday. The Hawks (12-2), who have won three in a row, improved to 3-2 in the district for third place.

Grant Hodgeman doubled in the winning run to give St. Andrew’s a 4-3 win over visiting Kriski, Pennsylvania on Friday. It was the Scots second win of the season.
