Wellington held off a late rally by Taravella to win 2-1 on Saturday in the Coral Springs Classic championship. Matthew Morales was named MVP, and Erik Wiebke tossed five scoreless innings with Ryan Stark earning the save for the Wolverines, who won their third consecutive game. Stark also drove in a run, as did Phil Sieli.
