Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, February 25th, 2014

Pitching staffs took full effect Tuesday as shutouts were posted all over. Boca Christian, St. Andrews and Jupiter Christian were some of the schools who had zero runs on the opponents scoring column. Royal Palm Beach won a district game 4-1 over Forest Hills, improving them to 5-1 on the season. Brandon Houk threw six innings, allowed one run on four hits, did not walk anyone and struck out six in Royal Palm’s win. John I Leonard received a great pitching performance from their starter, Chris Monteagudo, who struck out eight and allowed two hits in a complete-game 4-0 win.
