Regional Playoff Recaps For Palm Beach County For Saturday, May 4th

King’s Academy 5, Canterbury 1 – Ryan Johnson and Jacob Krigbaum each went 1-for-2 with an RBI to pace the Lions (16-12), who advance to a regional semifinal Tuesday against district rival Benjamin. Krigbaum tripled and also scored. Mark Zippin went 1-for-3 with a run, and James Vaughn drove in a run with sacrifice fly. Ben Lowinski also scored.

Benjamin 10, Seacrest Country Day 4 – Matt Harris picked up the win for the Bucs (21-6), who will travel to King’s Academy on Tuesday for a regional semifinal.

Bishop Verot 4, Cardinal Newman 1 – Daniel Cole and Anthony Zaleski picked up the hits for the Crusaders, who finished their season at 18-10. Cole also scored the only run.
