Daily Recaps For Palm Beach County Games On Wednesday, April 3rd

It’s been an up-and-down season for Dwyer, but the Panthers became just the second team to beat Jupiter this season with Wednesday’s win…


Dwyer 12, Jupiter 6 – Robert Moss went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Shane Olive went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for the Panthers (9-8), who have won six of their past eight.

John I. Leonard 1, Spanish River 0 – Noel Canete struck out eight in a three-hitter to lead the Lancers (10-7) past the Sharks (6-9) in an 8A-10 matchup.


Boca Raton 3, Park Vista 1 – Mike Spooner hit a two-run single in the sixth to put the Bobcats (9-10) ahead as they won their second in a row. Evan Lahr allowed four hits in a complete-game effort.

Trinity Christian 4, South Fork 2 – Franco Guardascione went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs as the Warriors (12-5) extended their winning streak to seven games.


West Boca 4, Monarch 1 – Joe White went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice fly for the Bulls (13-4), who are on a three-game winning streak. Anthony Morales went 2-for-4 with a double, run and RBI to pace the Knights (8-6), who have lost three in a row.


Boynton Beach 5, Palm Beach Lakes 0 – Luis Cepeda struck out three in three innings, and Christian Perez struck out another three in his four innings to help the Tigers (4-13) to their second win in a row. Stephen Kaczmarek led at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a double, RBI and run.

Pope John Paul II 3, Olympic Heights 2 – Daniel Mayer had three strikeouts in his four innings, and Nick Transleau went 2-for-2 with two doubles and a run as the Eagles (11-7) slipped past the Lions (6-12). Pope is on a three-game winning streak heading into Friday’s district showdown with American Heritage. Kenny Landis pitched a complete game for Olympic Heights, allowing four hits and two earned runs while striking out four.
