Daily Recaps For Palm Beach County Games On Monday, March 25th

Seminole Ridge Manager Trent Pendergast earned his 100th career coaching victory at the school on Monday, as the Hawks stretched their winning streak to five games.

Seminole Ridge 13, Tavares 0 – Zach Berry picked up the shutout victory on the mound for the Hawks (9-8) in the Sanford Invitational. Seminole Ridge scored nine runs to pull away in the third inning, and had 17 hits overall.
West Boca 8, Indian Rocks Christian 5 – Kyle Morgan earned the win on the mound for the Bulls (10-2), who got a big day from Chris Busch as he hit a double and a triple and had three RBIs. Bardley Busch added a pair of doubles and an RBI and Sean Kuchta was 2-for-2 with an RBI.
Atlantic 10, Olympic Heights 2 – Jarren Pinkney was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs and Bobby Borque was 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Eagles (9-6) in the opener of the Lake Worth Tournament. Cody Bryant had a double and an RBI and Jesse Kieffer added a double.
Boynton Beach 7, Lake Worth 3 – Christian Perez had five strikeouts and did not allow any hits to earn his first win of the season for the Tigers (2-11), who beat the hosts of the Lake Worth Tournament. Johann Martin had two hits, including a double and added three RBIs.
Palm Beach Beach Gardens 11, Umatilla 1 – Nick Gallo had three hits, a double and two runs and Joey Boyd pitched a complete-game three-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead the Gators (14-3) in the Sanford Invitational. Pavin Smith had a triple, two runs and four RBIs, JJ Schwarz had two hits, a double and three RBIs and Hunter Sanicky scored twice. Jesse Gettford tripled for Umatilla.
Wellington 10, Key West 4 – Niko DellaPenna had six strikeouts to earn the victory for the Wolverines (8-7) in the Central Florida Slam. Danny Bigtree was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and was also hit by a pitch to reach base all three attempts.
Santaluces 3, Coral Springs 1 – Dominic Teresi alowed one hit in five innings while striking out five to lead the Chiefs (10-6) over the hosts of the Coral Springs Tournament. Sean Steele went 4-for-4 with a double and a run.
Boca Christian 5, Berean Christian 1 – Jack Havelka was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the Blazers (7-4). Tony Gioannini was 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs (4-4).
