Summit Christian 6, Park Vista 2 – Zach Lawernce pitched 3.2 innings, allowing no earned runs while striking out three and also went 1-for-2 with a run and RBI to pace the Saints. Colin Smith went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Brandon Swass doubled. Trey Ambergey tripled for the Cobras.

Pope John Paul II 4, Spanish River 2 – Nick Transleau went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Alex Bialakis pitched five innings, striking out six while allowing four hits and an earned run for the Eagles. Daniel Mayer pitched two innings, striking out four and allowing one hit.

John I. Leonard 5, Olympic Heights 4 – Chris Perez went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Noel Canate pitched 6.2 innings, striking out eight and allowing two hits. Sean McClaskie struck out four for the Lions.

Palm Beach Gardens 11, Cardinal Newman 1 – Nick Horvath doubled, tripled and drove in four runs to lead the Gators.

Wellington 8, Seminole Ridge 3 – Michael Cusenza powered the Wolverines, going 4-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Jake Summey went 3-for-3 with a run and RBI. Mike Rodriguez struck out seven in five innings.

American Heritage 14, Boca Raton 3 – The Stallions earned their first win of the year as Anthony Delaney went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs, and Amfernee Seymour went 3-for-4 with two runs, a double, stole base and two RBIs.
