King’s Academy used a big inning to get by Trinity Christian to highlight action around the county Thursday. Here’s a look at some of the games played…

King’s Academy 13, Trinity Christian 7 – The Lions (4-1) broke a 3-3 tie with a big seven-run fourth inning. Jacob Krigbaum was 2-for-3 with two triples and three RBIs, and Mark Zippin was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Darren Seferina had a double and a home run for the Warriors (3-1).

Benjamin 2, Seacrest Country Day 0 – The Buccaneers cruised to 3-0 as Bennett Sousa homered to back himself on the mound. Benjamin got its second shutout of the season and has allowed just three runs in three games.

Forest Hills 4, Boynton Beach 0 – Madison Milliken was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Juan Iglesias was also 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Falcons (2-2). Shortstop Christopher Bautista recorded seven putouts, while Anthony Bautista added a pair of putouts. Victor Hughes took the loss for the Tigers (0-3).

Calvary Christian 1, Pope John Paul II 0 – Josh Parker was the tough-luck loser for Pope (1-3), after recording nine strikeouts in five innings while holding Calvary (2-2-1) to five hits and one earned run. Zander Retamar was 2-for-3 to account for half of Pope’s offense.
