American Heritage 3, Summit Christian 0 – Anthony Delaney struck out 16 and allowed one hit while walking none as the Stallions picked up their second win of the season and first in the district. He also had a hit, scored and drove in a run. Amfernee Seymour went 1-for-3 with a run and two stolen bases. Colin Smith led the Saints, pitching five and two-thirds innings with three runs and five strikeouts.
Palm Beach Gardens 6, Wellington 0 – Pavin Smith, Matt Williams and Joey Boyd combined to strike out 13 and allow four hits as the Gators handled their District 8A-9 opponent. Smith, Boyd, JJ Schwartz and Sendle Jean had two hits each. Smith drove in two and homered, and Williams doubled.
Palm Beach Central 5, Dwyer 2 – The Broncos improved to 4-1 and earned their first district victory this season as Ethan Hagenmiller hit a home run and scored twice. Marrs and Hope each went 1 for 3 with a home run for the Panthers.
Cardinal Newman 5, Jupiter Christian 4 – Daniel Cole went 2-for-4 with a triple, run and RBI to pace the Crusaders. Sean Farmer went 2-for-3 with a run for the Eagles.
King’s Academy 4, Seacrest 3 – Ryan Johnson doubled to help the Lions earn the narrow victory.
Boca Christian 21, Princeton Christian 1 – Tommy Havelka powered the Blazers, going 3-for-5 with five RBIs.
