Introducing The HSBN Clubhouse
Coaches, players, parents, and fans of HSBN know that we are always pushing the envelope in the off-season, developing new ways to promote the programs and players of South Florida. This off-season was spent developing with an emphasis on giving parents and players the ability to control their own player profiles, and the result was a groundbreaking new idea, the HSBN Clubhouse.
The biggest feature for Clubhouse members is the ability for players to upload videos to their player profiles and team pages. Other sites charge upwards of $300 for the ability to fully control player profiles in the hopes that a college may see the player.
At HSBN, we have thousands of college and pro scouts already looking at our pages each season, so the ability to upload recruiting videos was something we put a focus on this past Fall.
“We understood that many players in our HSBN system do not have the ability or means to pay high prices to services in the hopes of getting seen by college coaches,” said HSBN Co-Founder Anthony Uttariello. “We also understood that with college coaches locked into our sites, it was important for us to continue to help these student-athletes use their HSBN profiles to maximize their exposure at a low cost. That is where the HSBN Clubhouse idea began.”
While other sites charge upwards of $300 for a profile on their sites, HSBN’s profiles remain free for all players in South Florida. Joining the Clubhouse comes at a cost of just $3 per month.
“We have done our best to keep the sites free for players, coaches, parents, and fans,” said Uttariello. “And with this Clubhouse feature, we feel we have again moved to the front of the recruiting industry with the creating of a low-cost way for players to add their recruiting videos.”
The coolest new feature for Members is the ability to add Instagram videos to games, teams and/or players pages. All videos added to games will be stored on each game’s page as a ‘highlight reel’ of the game. Players and teams can be tagged in each video and every team and player will have a feed in their profile featuring all of their Instagram videos.
So how does this portion of the Clubhouse work? It is simple. Once signing up to become a Clubhouse member, players will have the ability to upload videos directly to their profile, which will then be visible for college scouts to see.
The videos also are not limited to recruiting. Have a video of a game-winning hit or catch? A big strikeout or stolen base? They all can be uploaded for free for Clubhouse members!
While the videos are a big feature of the Clubhouse, there is so much more for members. As many of you have seen on your favorite teams’ home page, Clubhouse members have the ability to become fans of any and all teams in the HSBN system. Follow your favorite team, while coaches and programs build your fan base through the Clubhouse. Later this year, HSBN will also be running a promotion to see which team has the most fans here in South Florida!
Are you a scout, a coach that wants to keep tabs on your rivals, or just a baseball junkie? The Clubhouse also offers the ability to rate and keep notes on players from around the network.
With all of that, along with access to advanced features on HSBN not available to the general public, becoming a Clubhouse member has become the next best thing in HSBN’s desire to provide coaches, players, parents, and fans with the best high school baseball coverage and experience in the nation.
